DESIGNING SPACES FOR EVOLUTION

It’s more than a design studio—we believe our thoughts, emotions, and nervous system are deeply interconnected with the outer world.

"CREATING AND EXPERIENCING SPACES THROUGH THE SENSES".

At Quintus Theory, our purpose is to guide you through a methodology that connects design with emotion — creating environments intentionally aligned with your inner world.

Grounded in neuroscience-based interior design, this approach serves as a bridge between body and mind. Through self-awareness and the conscious use of the senses, we design spaces that reflect the individual who inhabits them — restoring balance and a true sense of belonging.

Based in New York City

Absorbing spaces everywhere. Quintus Theory is a living philosophy that explores the emotional connection between people and their environments.

We understand how we feel in spaces, not just how they look.
How they shape our behaviors and how they can nurture well-being.

Founded by Mónica Caibet, Quintus Theory was born from a human-centered approach that views design as a tool for transformation.

“You may be surprised by the profound influence spaces have on your well-being. Each project begins as an introspective journey, a process of remembering, sensing, and becoming.” — Monica

THE STORY BEHIND

Monica’s journey has been defined by new beginnings. It first took shape in the world of media and communication, with the exploration of language and the art of expression, where she once dreamed of becoming a radio host and creating audiovisual works with purpose. Her path then intertwined with gastronomy; as a baker and pastry chef, she explored the deep connection between the human senses and emotion. Through food, she discovered the power of sensory experience to awaken memory, offer comfort, and spark joy—a realization that now lies at the heart of her creative philosophy.

This passion naturally evolved into the design of physical spaces. Pursuing a degree in Fine Arts in Interior Design, she explored traditional design practices while nurturing a more human-centered approach, which would later become the epicenter of this theory.

Now based in New York, she designs spaces guided by this philosophy, helping individuals to transform their environments into spaces that nurture balance, awareness, and connection. When she isn’t designing, Monica writes about spaces that embody this human sensibility, ones where life and emotion converge.
